We are a 100% employee owned merit shop that has been providing quality insulation solutions since 1978. We have been employee owned since 1995 and provide specialized craftsmanship in the application of fibrous glass, calcium silicate, cellular glass, mineral wool and flexible elastomeric rubber on heating, plumbing, industrial process piping, ductwork and equipment systems.

We were founded in March 1978 by Mike Coppola and Gary Serbonich in Johnson City, New York. We started with 4 employees working mainly for IBM headquarters in Endicott, NY. The fast growing company relocated and has been at its present location in Endwell, NY since 1981.
In 1983, just 5 years after incorporation, we marked a milestone—registering over a million dollars in sales. In 1995, we began the transition of selling the company to its employees under the umbrella of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, or ESOP. In 2007, that transition was completed, distributing 100% of the outstanding shares of the company into the hands of the employees.
Our success is based on repeat customers and outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves on the fact that over two-thirds of our yearly sales comes from repeat customers who trust us to do the best work possible.
